Chirag Paswan Joins NDA Hours After Meeting Amit Shah

New Delhi: Chirag Paswan, the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), has made the decision to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), as confirmed by J P Nadda, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief. The announcement came following a meeting between Paswan and Amit Shah, senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister, on the eve of the NDA meeting in New Delhi.

Taking to Twitter, Nadda expressed his welcome to Chirag Paswan’s decision, stating, “Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has decided to join NDA alliance led by Shri Hon’ble Narendra Modiji. I welcome him to the NDA family.”

The discussions between Paswan and the BJP have primarily revolved around the allocation of Lok Sabha seats in Bihar for the upcoming 2024 general elections. The meeting between Paswan and Amit Shah was viewed as a crucial step in this process.

This development marks an important move in the political landscape, as Chirag Paswan’s decision to join the NDA strengthens the alliance and showcases the growing support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
