Chopper Carrying Telangana CM Develops Technical Snag, Diverted Back to Land safely

Hyderabad: A helicopter transporting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for an election rally developed a mid-air technical snag on Monday morning. But the chopper managed to land back safely.

The chopper took off from the CM’s farmhouse near Hyderabad. It was on its way to Devarakadra, around 130 km from Hyderabad.

But around 20 minutes after the take off, the pilot sensed some problem and diverted the helicopter back to his farmhouse, to avoid any untoward incident.

“The alert pilot diverted the chopper to CM KCR’s farm house and landed safely,” said an official release.

Another helicopter was arranged for the CM’s campaign tour.
