Unqualified ‘Doctor’ Arrested for Deceptive Medical Practices in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a shocking revelation, a fake doctor operating in Kankadahada, Odisha’s Dhenkanal district, has been apprehended by the police. The accused, Rakesh Biswas from Kolkata, was running a clinic and duping unsuspecting patients by offering medical services without any valid medical qualifications.

Despite lacking a legitimate medical degree or certification, Rakesh Biswas had been brazenly engaging in medical practices for several years. He was found to be prescribing medications and administering injections to patients within the Kankadahada block, putting their health at serious risk.

When media personnel attempted to investigate the fraudulent operation at Rakesh’s clinic, they were met with an attempt at bribery, further solidifying suspicions about his true credentials. When asked about his qualifications, Rakesh could not provide any evidence of medical training, revealing that his highest educational achievement was passing the Plus II examination.

Acting swiftly upon receiving the report, a team led by Inspector In-Charge Kalpana Behera from the Kankadakada police station raided the clinic and apprehended Rakesh Biswas. Further investigation into this case is currently underway to determine the extent of his illegal activities and the number of patients potentially affected by his unqualified medical practices.
