The Board Chairman Prashant Kumar Parida made this announcement.

The CHSE has also brought in some changes in the exam pattern. In the +2 exams in 2025, students will have to appear for 80-mark theory exams instead of the usual 100 marks papers. To pass, students will have to score at least 24 marks, which is 30% of the total. The remaining 20 marks will be allocated for internal assessments. However, the internal marks will not be added to the theory marks to determine pass or fail.
