Classes Suspended in Schools of 10 Dists in Odisha for Heavy Rainfall

Bhubaneswar: Because of the continuing heavy rainfall, classes of government and private schools in 10 districts of Odisha were suspended on Wednesday.

The districts where one day school holiday was declared are Angul, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Sonepur and Nuapada.

Respective district administrations took the decision because of waterlogging and flood-like situations in several areas due to the incessant rains.

As per reports, rainwater has waterlogged the premises of several schools.
