CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates Odia University Campus in Satyabadi

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the new campus of the Odia University in Satyabadi in Puri district on Wednesday through video conferencing.

The Odia University campus has been constructed on nine acres of land with separate hostels for male and female students, classrooms, library, cafeteria, offices and other infrastructure.

The administrative building of the university is showcases designs of Odia alphabets. The varsity has a capacity of 200 students.

On October 9, 2018, CM Patnaik laid the foundation stone for the university near Bakula Bana Vidyalaya in Satyabadi.

This university was running at a temporary campus at Sakhigopal Panthashala.

The Odia University offers courses in Odia Language and Literature, Linguistics and Natural Language Processing and Regional, Tribal Language and Heritage Studies.
