Court Orders Arrest of AAP MP Sanjay Singh for Skipping Hearing

Sultanpur (UP): A Sultanpur court on Tuesday expressed strong disapproval over Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh’s absence from a hearing in a 20-year-old case, ordering the police to arrest and present him by August 28.

The court had previously issued a non-bailable warrant against Mr Singh, Samajwadi Party leader Anoop Sanda, and four others on August 13, with the hearing set for Tuesday. However, none of the accused appeared in court.

“The court has instructed the police to arrest all the accused and bring them before the court by August 28,” a court official stated.
