Cuttack’s Former Mayor Nebedita Pradhan Passes Away

Cuttack: Former Mayor of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Nibedita Pradhan, who was also a former mayor breathed her last in a private hospital in Cuttack on Thursday. She was 60.

She was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital after being afflicted with pneumonia. But all medical efforts could not save her. She passed away on Thursday afternoon.

Pradhan was a lawyer by profession. She had won the Cuttack Sadar assembly seat on a BJP ticket in 2002. In 2005 she became the Mayor of CMC.

Leaders of different political parties, friends, and well-wishers mourned her death and paid last respects.
