Drunk Killer of Son & Neighbour Lynched by Villagers in Nabarangpur District

Nabarangpur: A group of angry villagers thrashed a man to death when he killed his minor son and one of his neighbours in an inebriated condition at Gujumapadar village under Maidalpur police station in Nabarangpur district.

According to reports, in a drunken state, Radha Santa attacked his first wife but the woman managed to escape. Enraged by it, Radha stabbed her two-year-old son with a knife.

A neighbour, Janai Santa tried to intervene and save the innocent child from the clutches of his drunken father. But Radha attacked Janai with the knife and killed her on the spot. Receiving information about the violent misdeed of Radha, the angry villagers captured him and beat him up ruthlessly.

Later Radha was admitted to a local hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.

Based on the complaint lodged by the son of Janai, personnel of the Maidal police station registered a case and started an investigation. All three bodies have been sent for autopsy.
