Youth Torched in Choudwar of Cuttack Dist, Rescued in Critical Condition

Cuttack: A youth was set on fire by some unknown miscreant in Choudwar at midnight on Friday. A police patrol found the half-burnt victim near a crematorium at the Biratgadi area of Choudwar.

It was found that someone had tried to burn down the youth alive. The seriously injured youth was admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack in extreme critical condition.

Police have started an investigation into the case as it is suspected that someone attempted to murder the victim.
