ED Issues Fresh Summons to TMC Leader Mahua Moitra, Bizman Darshan Hiranandani

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate issued fresh summons to TMC leader Mahua Moitra and businessman Darshan Hiranandani on March 28 for interrogation in a Foreign Exchange Management Act contravention case.

The 49-year-old TMC leader was called for questioning earlier also by the ED.

In December 2023, Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha in for ‘unethical conduct’. The TMC has renominated her to contest from West Bengal’s Krishnanagar seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
