First Session in New Parliament Building on Ganesh Chaturthi

New Delhi: Ganesh Chaturthi this year on September 19 will go down in history as the new Parliament Building will witness its first session on that day.

As per reports, the first day of the Special Session of Parliament called up by the government will be held in the old building on September 18. The session will be moved to the new building on September 19 on Ganesh Chaturthi.

During this five-day special session, the government is expected to table women’s reservation and ‘one nation-one election’ bills.

The five-day special session of Parliament has been convened by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi from September 18-22. The agenda of the session will soon be made public.
