Google Launches AI Search Tool for India in Hindi, English

New Delhi: Google declared on Wednesday that it has introduced generative Artificial Intelligence to its search tool for users in India and Japan. It will show text or visual results to prompts, including summaries.

This feature was first introduced only in the United States. This week this option has been launched in India and China. The users have the choice to opt in for it.

In Japan, users will be able to use the AI feature in Japanese. In India it will be available in English and Hindi.

AI-based Google’s search feature is meant to be used for seeking information, such as locating something to purchase. But it cannot hold human-like conversations or generate software code like Google’s Chatbot Bard.
