Husband, Stepsons Decapitate Woman Over Extramarital Affair Suspicion

Lucknow: A man with the help of his sons and nephew beheaded his second wife in the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh due to suspicion that she was having an affair with one of his sons.

The decapitated body of the woman named Maya Devi (35) with four of her fingers missing was located on Friday in the Banda district. The deceased was the second wife of Ramkumar Ahirwar, a resident of Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh.

The woman’s hair was cut off and her teeth were crushed to conceal her identity.

During interrogation, Ramkumar, the husband, his sons Suraj Prakash and Brijesh, and nephew Udaibhan, confessed to having hatched the woman’s murder.

Ramkumar suspected that Maya Devi was having an affair with one of his sons. So, the four accused took Maya Devi to Chamraha village, strangled her to death and cut her head with an axe. They also cut four of her fingers.
