Two Pak Terrorists Killed While Trying to Infiltrate into Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar: Two terrorists from Pakistan were shot dead by security forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning, while they were attempting to infiltrate.

The infiltration bid was foiled in the Machil sector of Kupwara district. Two AK rifles and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists.

Indian Army has launched a combing operation for two more infiltrators. Handlers from across the border tried to push in a heavily armed terror group and the the infiltrators were intercepted at the Kumkadi area of the Machil sector.

On September 16, when the Anantnag encounter was on, another infiltration attempt was foiled along the LoC. Two terrorists were killed and a third got injured but managed to escape with the help of Pakistani covering fire.
