IAS Arabinda Padhee Takes Charge as Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration

Puri: Senior IAS officer Arabinda Kumar Padhee took charge as the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri on Friday.

Padhee was given this additional charge by the Odisha government as the Chief Administrator of SJTA Veer Vikram Jadav has gone on leave.

“The present Chief Administrator of SJTA Vir Vikram Yadav is on vacation. Due to this, Arabinda Padhee has been given this charge”, stated the notification of the Odisha government.

After taking charge, Padhee held discussions with SJTA officers about measures to be taken for the smooth conduct of rituals including the Naba Joubana Darshan, Netra Utsav and Rath Yatra. He also took note of the progress of the chariot construction work.
