Kejriwal Skips ED Summons Related to Delhi Jal Board Case

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday skipped the ED summons in a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the Delhi Jal Board.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) termed the ED summons “illegal” alleging that the BJP government at the Centre was using the ED to target Kejriwal ahead of the polls.

The ED had summoned Kejriwal for interrogation on Monday 18 in a money laundering probe linked to alleged irregularities in the Delhi Jal Board.

Kejriwal has already skipped eight summons from the ED for questioning in the Delhi excise policy-linked money laundering case.

A fresh and ninth such notice in the excise policy case has asked him to appear before an ED investigating officer on March 21.
