Leopard Skin Seized in Boudh Dist, Two Arrested

Boudh: A leopard skin was seized by forest officials from the Kantamal area in the Boudh district of Odisha and two wildlife criminals were arrested in this connection.

Acting on an intelligence report about leopard skin trafficking, a team of forest officials led by Balangir DFO Nitish Kumar raided Kotagaon under Tushura police limits in Balangir district.

The team of forest officials nabbed one Mukesh Manhira of Kotagaon village, who informed about a leopard skin hidden under a straw pile at Phatamunda village under Kantamal police station limits in Boudh district.

The leopard skin was unearthed and seized. The forest officials also arrested another man identified as Dibyashankar Bagarty for his involvement in the case.
