Man Disrobes Woman, Inserts Rod in Her Pet Dog’s Private Part, Gets Arrested in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A 46-year-old man was arrested on Friday on charges of assaulting a woman, disrobing her and inserting an iron rod in the private part of her pet dog at Suryanagar in Bhubaneswar.

The arrested person identified as Maguni Nayak hails from Nayagarh district and was a slum dweller near the home of the woman in Suryanagar area of the capital city.

Nayak was booked under various sections of the IPC and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

According to police sources, a quarrel occurred between the family members of the accused and the woman’s family as the pet dog of the woman barked at the Maguni. Maguni abused the victim’s mother and brother. When the woman intervened the accused attacked her with a sword, but she could save herself from the blow of the sharp weapon.

It is alleged that after that Maguni overpowered the woman and disrobed her. He also inserted an iron rod into the anus of her pet dog.

The bail plea of the arrested accused was rejected by the court and he was remanded remanded to 14-day judicial custody.
