Man & Woman With Smoke Cans Arrested Outside Parliament

New Delhi: A man and a woman were taken into custody on Wednesday while they were protesting outside the Parliament building holding cans that emitted a yellowish smoke.

The arrested duo was identified as Neelam (42) and Amol Shinde (25). Both were nabbed in front of Transport Bhawan.

Further probe is underway and security has been tightened in the area.

This incident coincided with the sudden entry of two youths into the Lok Sabha. They also opened smoke cans inside the House while shouting slogans.

On December 13, 2001, terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked the Parliament complex killing nine people.
