Nandankanan Zoo Starts Online Ticket Booking Facility Through WhatsApp for Visitors

Bhubaneswar: Now entry tickets for the Nandankanan Zoological Park can be booked online through WhatsApp. This online ticket booking facility for the zoo was launched on Wednesday by the Odisha Forest, Environment and Climate Change minister, Pradip Kumar Amat.

This online booking system will ease the ticket booking process for visitors coming from outside Bhubaneswar.

The Minister also inaugurated a newly-built enclosure for Hoolock Gibbons, on the premises of Nadankakan Zoological Park. This enclosure houses four Hoolock Gibbons, brought from Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.

Notably, Hoolock Gibbon, is the only tailless ape found in the northeast of India. It is listed as an endangered species under the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List.
