WATCH: Naveen Patnaik Trashes PM Modi’s Claim of BJP Forming Govt in Odisha as ‘Daydreaming’

Bhubaneswar: BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has rebuffed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assertion of BJP’s victory in Odisha, terming it a mere daydream.

Responding to a question from his close aide V K Pandian, Naveen dismissed BJP’s claims of forming the government in the state, asserting that the saffron party has been indulging in daydreaming for quite some time.

The Chief Minister’s retort came soon after PM Modi’s declaration at a BJP rally in Berhampur, where he proclaimed June 4 as the expiration date for Naveen Patnaik’s BJD government in Odisha. PM Modi, during his address at Kanisi under Berhampur parliamentary constituency, invited the crowd to the swearing-in ceremony of a BJP Chief Minister in Bhubaneswar on June 10.

Naveen, who was on a rapid campaign spree across Kalahandi and Nuapada districts, addressing rallies in Bhawanipatna and Khariar, responded to Pandian’s query during his travel. Pandian later shared the video of the BJD chief’s response on Instagram.
