No Entry for Devotees in Revealing Clothes at Uttarakhand’s Kainchi Dham Temple

Nainital: The famous Kainchi Dham Temple in Uttarakhand, the abode of saint Neem Karuli Baba, has banned the entry of devotees wearing short or ‘revealing’ clothes. The temple authorities have termed these attires as ‘disrespectful’ and ‘indecent’ clothing.

Added to it, the temple authorities also completely prohibited photography and videography inside the temple.

The temple trust at a meeting decided upon the dress code for devotees coming to the Kainchi Dham Temple. The new regulation has been displayed through boards placed on the temple premises.

The board installed at the entrance gate of the Kainchi Dham Temple reads, “All devotees coming to visit the holy shrine of Sri Kainchi Dham are kindly requested to refrain from entering the temple premises wearing ‘disrespectful’ and ‘indecent’ attire, while maintaining the sacredness of the temple.”
