Bhubaneswar: The State government has initiated the process to develop 55 block-level bus stands and the maintenance of Athagarh, Balangir, Jeypore and Motu bus stands at a cost of Rs 373.13 crore.
The Odisha cabinet on Thursday approved Rs 373.13 crore for the construction and maintenance of these bus stands. These will be state-of-the-art eco-friendly bus stands to promote the social and economic development of the local area by creating new opportunities for tourism and business sectors.
These 55 block-level bus stands will be developed across 23 districts.
These are to be managed by Facility Management Services (FMS) organizations and Mission Shakti Self Help Groups (SHGs).
