Olympic Gold Medalist Arshad Nadeem Gets ‘Buffalo’ Gift From Father In Law!

Following his gold medal in the javelin throw in the Paris Olympics, Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem has received gifts and rewards ranging from PKR 150 million to gold crowns and civil honours.

But the most unique gift was given to him by his father-in-law – the father of his wife Ayesha. His father in law gifted the Olympic star athlete a buffalo.

Joking about it on a TV show, Nadeem said, “It’s just a buffalo, he could’ve given me five acres of land instead!”

“But I thought, ‘okay, a buffalo is not bad either'”, he added.

“I told her ‘He’s so rich and he gave me a buffalo?’ I asked her to tell him to give 5-6 acres of land, but she hasn’t yet!,” joked Nadeem.

Nadeem beat India’s Neeraj Chopra for the first time after ten javelin duels to win the gold medal at Paris Olympics 2024.
