Oman Air Flight to Muscat Returns to Kozhikode Due to Midair Technical Snag

Kozhikode: An Oman Air flight with 169 passengers had to return back to the Kozhikode international airport after take-off because of a midair technical problem. This flight was on its way to Muscat.

The aircraft circled the airport for over two hours to burn fuel and become lighter before landing.

The flight, WY 298, took off from Karipur airport at 9.15 AM. A few minutes after take-off, its pilot discovered the technical snag and preferred to turn back and it landed safely.
