Bengal Madrasa Teacher Rapes Minor Girl, Locks Her in School Toilet

Kolkata: A teacher of a madrasa in West Bengal’s South 24 Pargana district raped a minor girl student inside the school premises and locked her up inside a toilet.

The incident occurred on July 21 in the Dholaghat High Madrasa. The accused, Faizuddin Mollah has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the parents of the victim.

As per the police complaint, the accused followed the victim to the toilet and sexually assaulted her.

When the victim cried for help, the inhuman teacher slapped her and locked her up in the washroom.

She was rescued from captivity by her friends, who also informed about the incident to the victim’s parents. The victim’s parents filed a complaint at the Dholaghat police station on Sunday. Police arrested the accused on Monday evening.

He was booked under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
