Asian Games 2023: Parul Chaudhary Clinches Gold in Women’s 5000m

Hangzhou: Parul Chaudhary made history at the 2023 Asian Games by becoming the third Indian track and field athlete to secure a gold medal. She achieved this remarkable feat in the women’s 5000m event, and her victory was nothing short of dramatic.

Throughout the race, Parul strategically hung back, closely trailing Japan’s Ririka Hironaka. However, the most thrilling part of the race unfolded in the final few meters.
