PM Modi’s Bhubaneswar Visit on Feb 10 Postponed, Reports

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar on February 10 has been postponed, as per reports.

The new date for the visit will be declared after the the two-day national convention of the BJP in New Delhi.

During his visit to Bhubaneswar on February 10, the Prime Minister was to address a women’s convention that was to be attended by representatives from 20 states. But the program was deferred as the BJP will hold its national council meeting on February 16, followed by a two-day national executive committee meeting on February 17 and 18 in New Delhi.

The date for the Prime Minister’s visit to Odisha is expected to be finalized in the third week of February.

The BJP has planned to hold two national conventions of women, one in Bhubaneswar and the other in Bhopal. Both are to be addressed by the Prime Minister.
