Chhattisgarh Man Gifts Helmets on Daughter’s Wedding for Road Safety Awareness

Raipur: Sed Yadav, a resident of the Mudapar area in Korba city in Chhattisgarh distributed helmets as return gifts to guests during his daughter’s wedding for road safety awareness.

Family members of Sed Yadav also danced wearing helmets at the wedding ceremony held on Monday.

Sed Yadav’s daughter Nilima, a sports teacher, got married to Khamhan Yadav of Lankahuda village in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district.

Guests who reached the wedding venue on their bikes were handed helmets as a return gift by the bride’s father.

Sed Yadav said he felt his daughter’s wedding was the best occasion to raise awareness about road safety. He also appealed to them not to drink and drive as most road accidents occur due to drunk driving.

Around 20 helmets were distributed to the guests along with sweets during the marriage ceremony.
