SIT Issues Lookout Notice Against Prajwal Revanna In Sexual Assault Case

New Delhi: In the latest development surrounding the scandal of explicit videos implicating JD(S) Lok Sabha candidate Prajwal Revanna, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has issued a lookout notice against him. This notice extends to all international immigration points.

Reports suggest that Revanna allegedly departed to Frankfurt, Germany on April 26, following the circulation of numerous explicit videos and photos depicting his involvement in the sexual abuse of multiple women, which went viral on social media.

Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and son of former minister HD Revanna, is currently seeking re-election from Hassan on a JD(S) ticket.

Facing severe backlash and sexual assault charges, Prajwal has requested a seven-day extension to appear before the SIT, which is investigating the case. Both Prajwal and his father, HD Revanna, have been summoned for questioning.

While the Hassan MP has informed the probe team about his location outside Bengaluru, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has taken a dig at Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent comments, where Shah expressed the BJP’s stance against atrocities towards women, indirectly referring to the Prajwal case.

Moreover, a case has been filed against Revanna and his son Prajwal in Holenarasipura, based on a complaint lodged by their former cook and relative, alleging sexual harassment. The complainant accused Prajwal of making objectionable video calls to her daughter, prompting her to block him.
