Rahul Gandhi Files Nomination From Kerala’s Wayanad

Wayanad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday filed his nomination papers from Kerala’s Wayanad Lok Sabha seat.

During the filing of the nomination papers, he was accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi Bhadra, AICC general secretary K C Venugopal and other senior leaders of the party.

Rahul Gandhi submitted his nomination papers to the Wayanad District Collector, the Returning Officer for the constituency.

After submitting the papers, he took the oath to uphold the Constitution which concluded the nomination submission process.

Rahul Gandhi reached Wayanad by helicopter on Wednesday morning. He held a roadshow submitting his nomination papers. He also addressed the public at the end of the roadshow and said he was always with the people of Wayanad.

Kerala BJP’s state president K Surendran and CPI leader Annie Raja will fight against Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad.

Rahul Gandhi won from Wayanad in 2019 with a huge margin of over four lakh votes.
