Rape Convict Commits Same Crime with 5-Yr-Old After Coming Out From Jail in MP

Bhopal: Rakesh Varma, a rape convict of Madhya Pradesh, who spent seven years in jail in a rape case, allegedly raped a 5-year-old Dalit girl in Satna, after getting released.

He was arrested under relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO Act.

He was released from jail around a year and a half back but the jail term did not change him.

He raped his recent victim on Wednesday. He lured the 5-year-old victim through candies and took her away to rape her. The grandmother tried to stop him but failed.

The girl taken away by the accused was found in injured condition after a few hours.

According to police sources, this accused had raped a four-and-a-half-year-old girl in 2012, for which he was sentenced to 10 years.

But on the basis of good behaviour in jail, his sentence was reduced by three years and he was released 18 months ago. But he committed a similar crime again proving that the jail term has not changed him.
