Rs 50 Lakh Worth Lights Stolen from Ayodhya’s Ram Path, Bhakti Path

Ayodhya: Around 3,800 bamboo and 36 projector lights worth over Rs 50 lakh were allegedly stolen from high-security area in Ayodhya. These lights were installed on Bhakti Path and Ram Path in Ayodhya.

Following a complaint lodged by the companies that installed these lights, an FIR was lodged at the Ram Janmabhoomi police station on August 9.

According to reports, around 6,400 bamboo lights were installed on Rampath and 96 projector lights were installed on Bhakti Path. These lights continued to be there till March 19. But during inspection on May 9, it was found that around 3,800 bamboo lights and 36 projector lights were stolen by some unidentified persons.

Ayodhya was given a complete refurbished look under a special project ahead of the January 22 Ram temple consecration ceremony.
