Suhani Bhatnagar, the Child Babita Phogat in ‘Dangal’ Dies at Age of 19

New Delhi: Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of as child Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s Dangal, died on Saturday morning at the tender age of 19 years

The cause of her death is yet to be revealed. She was living in sector 17, Faridabad. Her funeral will be held at the Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad.

Suhani was not seen in movies after Dangal as she took a break from acting to concentrate on her studies.

Nitesh Tiwari directed blockbuster Dangal is the 2016 biographical sports drama. It was about Mahavir Singh Phogat, an amateur wrestler who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India’s first world-class female wrestlers. Aamir played the lead role, while Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra portrayed the adult versions of the two Phogat sisters. Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar enacted the younger versions of the female wrestlers.
