Shooting of Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ to Begin in May

Mumbai: The shooting for Aamir Khan’s next project ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ will begin in May in Delhi.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Aamir Khan will be reach Delhi along with 11 children next month for Sitare Zameen Par’s shoot. There will also be other star cast members of the movie.

As per the sources quoted by the Hindustan Times, the shooting schedule is set for one month, between May-June. It will be shot at different spots in Delhi, including Lal Qila, Lodhi Garden, Purani Dilli, and Thayagraj stadium. The children will indulge in various Paralympic Games for the shoot.

Aamir Khan had announced ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ at an event and said, “This film will make you laugh, it will entertain you. But the theme is the same (as ‘Taare Zameen Par’), that’s why we kept this name very thoughtfully. We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special, so we are taking forward this theme. In ‘Sitare Zameen Par’, those nine boys, who have their own issues, help me.”

In ‘Taare Zameen Par’, Darsheel Safary played the role of Ishaan Awasthi suffering from dyslexia. Aamir Khan was in role of art teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh. ‘Taare Zameen Par’ released on 21 December, 2007, was a commercial hit.
