Supreme Court issues Notice to Centre, Delhi Govt Taking Suo Motu Cognisance of Coaching Centre Deaths

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Centre and Delhi government after taking suo motu cognisance of Delhi coaching centre deaths.

The apex court stated that the coaching centres are playing with the lives of aspirants who have come from different parts of the country to Delhi.

Commenting on the the Rajinder Nagar incident that claimed the lives of three IAS aspirants, the Supreme Court said the incident was an eye opener, and no institute should be allowed to operate unless they comply with the safety norms.
