Taapsee Pannu Marries Badminton Player Mathias Boe from Denmark

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu married her long-term boyfriend and badminton player Mathias Boe in Rajasthan’s Udaipur.

The wedding ceremony held on March 23 was attended by only close friends and family. Anurag Kashyap and Kanika Dhillon are among the few celebrities who attended the marriage ceremony. Taapsee will soon host a wedding party in Mumbai for friends and colleagues.

Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe first met each other in 2013 at the inaugural Indian Badminton League and dated for over a decade.

Mathias, from Denmark, is a badminton player-turned-coach. Making his international debut in 1998, he became world number one in doubles. He is now coaching the Indian team in doubles. He won the men’s doubles silver medal at the 2012 Olympics in London, and a silver at the 2013 World Championship.

Taapsee was last seen in director Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Her future movies are ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’, ‘Woh Ladki Hai Khaan’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’.
