Tamil Nadu Congress MLA S Vijayadharani Joins BJP

New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Congress MLA S Vijayadharani joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Saturday.

Vijayadharini was a senior leader of the Congress in Tamil Nadu. She was elected from Vilvancode constituency in Kanyakumari district in 2021.

After joining the saffron party, Vijayadharani said “I have been in Congress since the beginning of my career. I have shifted party for the first time. Under the leadership of PM Modi, India is placed quite high on the international level….BJP should be more strengthened.”

Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai said Vijayadharani’s induction will further strengthen Tamil Nadu BJP.
