“Time To Fight, Not Celebrate,” Says AAP’s Sanjay Singh As He Walks Out Of Tihar Jail

New Delhi: As Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh, walked out of the Tihar Jail this evening, he emphasized the need for a united front against what he termed a “dictator government.” Speaking to reporters, Singh refrained from celebrating his release, urging AAP members to gear up for a determined struggle.

“It is not the time to celebrate but to stand up and fight. Every AAP worker must be prepared for the battle ahead,” stated Singh, highlighting the incarceration of prominent party figures including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain.

Amidst a warm reception by AAP supporters outside the jail, Singh, clad in traditional attire, addressed the crowd atop a car. He expressed confidence in the eventual release of all jailed AAP leaders.

Singh’s release followed the Supreme Court’s grant of bail, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raising no objections. Notably, Kejriwal and Sisodia are also detained in connection with the same case.

Prior to his release, Singh underwent a medical check-up at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) Hospital. Upon his return to jail, bail conditions were issued by a Delhi court, prohibiting him from making comments on the case, requiring a bail bond of Rs 2 lakh, and mandating sharing travel plans with the Investigating Officer.

Singh, who had been detained since October, emphasized unity and readiness for the challenges ahead, echoing sentiments shared by AAP supporters awaiting his release.
