Tribal Woman Paraded Naked by In-Laws in Rajasthan, 3 Arrested

Jaipur: A man along with his family members allegedly stripped his 21-year-old tribal wife and paraded her naked at a village in Rajasthan’s Pratapgarh district on Thursday (August 31). A video of the ghastly incident became viral on social made compelling the police to take action.

According to Rajasthan Director General of Police Umesh Mishra, the in-laws of the woman abducted her and took her to their village where the incident took place.

Her in-laws and husband were annoyed as she was staying with another man.

The video of the incident on social media showed a man stripping the woman in front of people and parading her naked.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot took cognizance of the incident and posted on X, “Such incidents have no place in a civilised society.” He said the accused would be tried in a fast-track court.

Meanwhile, police have arrested three persons including the husband of the victim.
