Two Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Accident in Balangir Dist

Balangir: Two persons died and two others were seriously in a road accident on NH-59 near Bangomunda of Balangir district’s Kantabanji on Monday morning.

Two passengers of a Bolero died on the spot when it collided with a truck. There were four persons in the Bolero when the accident occurred. Two others in the vehicles sustained critical injuries.

The deceased were identified as Lingaraj Saraf and Kishore Das of Panharenmunda village. The injured were admitted to the Kantabanji Hospital.

The police have seized both the vehicles and have launched a probe into the incident.
