Vinay Mohan Kwatra Will be India’s Next Ambassador to US

New Delhi: Vinay Mohan Kwatra was on Friday appointed as India’s next Ambassador to the United States.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Vinay Mohan Kwatra is a retired Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Indian diplomat. He served as the Ambassador of India to France and Nepal.

He has extensive expertise in dealing with India’s neighbourhood as well as the US, China and Europe.

Kwatra served as the 34th Foreign Secretary of India from May 2022 till July 14, 2024.
