Angry Wife Bites Off Husband’s Ear in Fit of Fury in Delhi

New Delhi: An angry woman allegedly bit off the right ear of her husband in the Sultanpur area of Delhi.

The woman severed a portion of the 45-year-old victim, necessitating surgery. He lodged a complaint with the police against his wife.

The violent wife has been booked under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which deals with “voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means.”

This incident occurred at around 9.20 am on November 20. When the victim asked his wife to clean the house, she quarrelled with him and allegedly bit his right ear, alleged the victim in his police complaint.

According to the victim, his wife was pressing him to sell the property women by him and give her the money so she could live separately.

The victim approached the police on November 22, after receiving medical treatment and gave a written complaint. Police have registered an FIR into the matter and further investigation is in progress.
