Man Impersonates Air Force Commander for Tooth Treatment, Arrested

New Delhi: A man was arrested for entering the Palam Air Force Station in Delhi by impersonating as an Air Force Wing Commander.

He was nabbed inside the high-security zone on February 21 while he was trying to gain unauthorized entry to get treated at the Air Force dental hospital.

He managed to breach one security perimeter but was apprehended by Air Force personnel when he reached the second layer of security.

The Air Force personnel handed him over to the Delhi Police fro further investigation. The accused has been identified as Vinayak Chadda (39) of Malakganj in South West Delhi.

Five fake identification documents were seized from his possession. During interrogation, the imposter claimed that he wanted to get treatment at the Air Force Dental Hospital, so he used fake documents to enter the premises.
