Drivers Gang Rape 20-Yr-Old Dalit Woman in Kanpur-Jaipur Moving Bus

Jaipur: A 20-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly gang raped by two drivers in a moving bus travelling from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh to Jaipur in Rajasthan from Uttar Pradesh.

This incident took place on the intervening night of December 9 and 10. The victim, travelling from Kanpur to Jaipur in this private bus, was sitting in the cabin. She was raped inside the cabin by the drivers identified as Arif and Lalit, police sources said. Arif has been arrested. But Lalit managed to escape.

There were some passengers inside the bus. The victim shouted from the cabin, which was locked from inside. This alerted the passengers, who got the bus stopped and caught Arif while Lalit escaped.
