Girl was murdered for changing boyfriend, two ex-boyfriends arrested

Begusarai: Begusarai police have exposed the murder of a girl in the Bakhri police station area on the night of 6-7 August. The girl was murdered due to changing lovers and two former lovers of the deceased involved in the murder have been arrested by the police.

SP Yogendra Kumar said on Saturday that on the night of August 6, Vikesh Kumar, a resident of Ahmedpur Ghaghra in the Bakhri police station area, along with his cousin Bittu Kumar, strangled the daughter of Nandkishore Sada, a resident of Shadipur (Rampur), in the garden under the Khalifa Baba place, killed the girl and fled after throwing the dead body.

As soon as the incident was reported on the morning of August 7, a special team was formed under the leadership of Bakhri DSP Chandan Kumar comprising Bakhri Police Station Chief Himanshu Kumar Singh and the District Intelligence Unit. Vikesh Kumar and Bittu Kumar, the ex-boyfriends of the girlfriend, resident of Ahmedpur (Ghaghra), who was involved in the murder case, were arrested along with the mobile of the deceased, while continuously collecting information, technical and scientific research by the team.

The arrested accused has told that the love affair of the deceased was going on with Vikesh Kumar. Meanwhile, Vikesh went to Bangalore for a few days, Vikesh came back from Bangalore and came to know that his girlfriend is in love with someone else. Angered by this, on the night of August 6, to take revenge, he called his girlfriend to meet him in the garden near Khalifa Baba’s place in Shadipur village, where both caught her and killed her by slitting his throat with a knife. The family got to know about the murder in the morning, the investigation was done and for taking quick action, both the killers have been arrested within 20 days.
