Indian Youth Gets Life Imprisonment for Killing Teen Wife in London

A 24-year-old man named Sahil Sharma was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering his 19-year-old Indian national wife Mehak Sharma by the Kingston Crown Court in London. He will have to serve a minimum term of 15 years in jail before being considered for parole.

Sahil Sharma killed his wife Mehak on October 31, 2023, at Ash Tree Way in Croydon, where the couple lived in London.

Mehak died of lethal knife injuries to her neck. Sahil was arrested at the scene. Mehak is said to have arrived in London a short time before her murder.
