Jajpur Shocker: Minor Girl Allegedly Raped Multiple Times by Distant Relative on Moving Bus

Jajpur: In a disturbing incident in Jajpur district, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped multiple times by her distant relative, 45-year-old Dayanidhi Jena. The survivor was on her way to tuition when Jena intercepted her, claiming her mother was sick and needed urgent medical attention in Bhadrak.

Trusting him, the minor accompanied Jena on a motorcycle to Aradi, where he left the bike at a petrol pump. Subsequently, they travelled to Bhadrak town by bus. Shockingly, Jena booked tickets on a sleeper bus to Kolkata, West Bengal, where he sexually assaulted the girl multiple times, threatening her against seeking help or disclosing the ordeal.

Returning to Bhadrak the same night, Jena dropped the victim on the roadside in critical condition at Malikapur-Palasahi around 4:30 AM. The incident came to light when the survivor’s father lodged an FIR, prompting the Dasarathpur police to launch an investigation. “The detailed investigation is underway,” stated IIC Badrikanath Behera.
