Man Kills Wife in Ganjam Dist Following Verbal Spat

Berhampur: A man killed his wife at Rohi village in Kukudakhandi Block under Berhampur Sadar Police Station limits in Ganjam district of Odisha on Wednesday night. According to police sources, the accused attacked the woman with a crowbar before hacking her to death.

The accused identified as Raju Jena killed his wife Jhunu, following a marital quarrel on Wednesday night. The altercation took an ugly turn and the accused initially attacked his wife with a crowbar. Later, he allegedly stabbed the woman with the crowbar resulting in her death on the spot.

After getting information, Police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation.
